Emily Elliott is a Colorado native. She has worked as a seasonal range technician for the Pike and the San Isabel National Forests and as a seasonal rare plant technician for the Colorado Natural Heritage Program. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology with a concentration in Restoration and a minor in Botany at Colorado State University.

Emily is currently pursuing a master's degree in Botany from the University of Wyoming. Her research is focused on a floristic inventory of south-western Montana and adjacent Wyoming.
